Full Moon Midlands Gathering at Derryounce
The Full Moon Midlands Gathering yoga team are back and ready to bring local people together for some spring lunar yoga on the Laois Offaly border.
The next, Gathering is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at Derryounce Lake just outside Portarlington. The 'Wonderful Donna' will guide participants in a gentle yoga session under the lunar light at the scenic amenity.
"Please dress warmly, bring a yoga mat, and feel free to come alone or bring a friend. This event is weather permitting, but we’re hopeful for clear skies and dry conditions.
"We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a peaceful and uplifting evening together," say the organisers.
The first moon yoga gathering took place in March led by Oonagh Hoey.
There were eight events at the Portarlington amenity in 2025. All were free of charge. The season concluded with a community fundraiser for a local couple whose daughter, Robyn, is undergoing a bone marrow transplant.

All involved do so voluntarily.
Event two takes place on Sunday, April 13, from 8.15pm at the Derryounce Lakes Portarlington.
