Laois GAA club to host celeb chef for Laois Down Syndrome fundraiser

A Laois GAA club is set to host celebrity chef Kevin Dundon for a cooking demonstration in aid of the Laois Down Syndrome Association.

The event will take place on Tuesday November 25 at the Manor Hotel in Abbeyleix, where chef Dundon will show attendees how to craft 'The Perfect Party Food Table'.

St Lazarian's Abbeyleix have announced the upcoming event, with tickets now available.

"A recipe for a fantastic night!" the club said.

"What better way to start the Christmas season with an evening of delicious food, fun and community spirit with the fabulous Kevin Dundon in association with Laois Down Syndrome & St. Lazarians Abbeyleix Hurling & Camogie Camogie Club!" they said.

"A complimentary mulled wine and prosecco reception will take place at 7pm, with Kevin Dundon's cooking demonstration at 7:30pm. There will be a DJ and a super raffle on the night," the club shared with excitement.

"On the evening, some of the best local food producers will be show casing their produce - G's Gourmet Jams, Temptation Chocolates, Derrykearn Apiary Honey, to name a few on the evening. Stall places are still available, so please get in touch if you would like a space," the club said.

"Admission to the event is by ticket only, and a donation will be made to Laois Down Syndrome the following the evening. Come along for a memorable night out!" the club finished.

Tickets to the highly anticipated event are available at the Manor Hotel, Abbeyleix for €30 each. For tickets, contact 057 873 0111, or any of the club's committee members.
