Christmas fun in Ballinakill and surrounds.

The festive spirit is alive and well in Ballinakill this Christmas.

The Ballinakill Christmas lights festival will be held on Sunday, December 9 in the Market Square from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.

After last year's great success the committee hopes 2018 will be even bigger and better. If you want to have a stall on the day please contact Eamon Delaney on 087 224 2027 or Sharon Drennan on 086 345 8540, there will also be Carol singing, entertainment for children and face painting.

There will be a raffle on the night for a monster hamper.

Ballinakill National School will host a Christmas carol service in St Brigid's Church on Thursday, December 13. All are welcome.

The Ballinakill Parish Fair is being held on Sunday, December 16 in the Old School Community Hall. All support much appreciated. Lots of prizes and the parish draw will also be held on the day.

An Ecumenical carol service will be held in the All Saints Church of Ireland on Sunday, December 30 at 7 pm. All are welcome.

Knock National School will host a Christmas carol service in St Lazarians Church, Spink on Tuesday, December 18 at 7 pm. All donations welcome.
