A host of golden daffodils awaited at Portlaoise College

Portlaoise Tidy Towns workers visited Portlaoise College recently to plant daffodil bulbs with first years.

“I was delighted with the support of Portlaoise Tidy Towns for the planting and the help of Cllr Jerry Lodge for organising this project,” said Portlaoise College Principal Noel Daly.

It is part of an ongoing programme of planting in the school.

“We can now look forward to brighter days and some extra flowers around the school,” Mr Daly said.
