A Laois GAA club is to apply for planning permission for a major upgrade of its outdoor facilities. 

St Manman’s GAA Club in Clonaslee announced plans to increase the number of car parking spaces at the club by extending onto their own land, install six 20 metre columns for lighting and a 25 metre concrete hurling wall with 1.2 metre sports fencing on top. 

They are also looking to install two 12 metre lighting columns and six 15 metre columns, 24 six metre lighting columns on an existing walking track and a 25 metre square astro pitch.

The GAA Club lodged a similar application late last year.
