The Laois Senior footballers travel to Netwatch Cullen Park to face Carlow on Sunday in Round 3 of Division 4 of the Allianz Football League. Laois come into the game off the back of two wins in their opening two matches.

Sligo were the first opponents for the O'Moore men with Laois coming out on top 2-11 to 0-11 in Markievicz Park. Wexford would come next as they travelled to the newly branded Laois Hire O'Moore Park. Laois once again getting the result with a 1-18 to 1-13 victory over the Yellow Bellies. Remarkably, the win over Wexford was Laois' first win at home since 2020 when they defeated Armagh, Laois have dropped two divisions since that win.

Carlow come into game undefeated in their first two league matches. They began their campaign at home to Wicklow, where the teams played out an entertaining game ending 2-10 apiece. They then travelled to Carriganore to face Waterford with the away side recording a 1-11 to 0-10 victory.

Both sides will have aspirations of making it into the Top 2 in the Division and gaining promotion into Division 3 for 2024. These sides will compete in the Tailteann Cup, barring one of them reach a Leinster final. In that case, the provincial finalists will compete for the Sam Maguire.
