The Laois U20 footballers have beaten Longford tonight in O'Moore Park to guarantee their place in a Leinster Quarter Final at least.

Laois took a commanding early lead, up by 2-4 before Longford got their first score. But the visitors made an extraordinary comeback and trailed by just 2-5 to 1-6 at half time.
Longford took over in the second half and even went in front for the first time. But five unanswered scores in the last 10 minutes from Laois secured victory, albeit a nervous one.
Laois finish up their group games with a home game against fellow unbeaten side Meath next Tuesday evening in Laois Hire O'Moore Park.
