Last weekend, Clonad GAA Club raised over €5,000 for the club as they took part in a cyclothon at the Portlaoise Plaza. The event lasted from 6pm on Friday June 2 until Saturday June 3 at 6pm. All monies raised went towards club development and green initiatives. The club would like to thank the Portlaoise Plaza at Junction 17 for the help in running the event as well as the Killeshin Hotel for supplying the bikes.
During the 24-hour cyclothon, former Waterford hurler and Laois senior hurling coach Dan Shanahan made an appearance as well as former Tipperary hurler Noel McGrath. Tap NEXT or ARROW to see more photos.
