Last weekend saw Round 3 of the Laois Senior Football Championship take place with the championship now split in half from here on in. Portlaoise, Graiguecullen, Courtwood and Emo all won their games to take their places in the quarter-finals while for Clonaslee St Manman's, Stradbally, Arles-Killeen and Ballyroan-Abbey, they drop down to the Senior 'B' Championship. Portlaoise and Sarsfields also clashed in the Ladies Championship.
