IN PICTURES: Laois GAA Club celebrates the opening of new walkway

Kyle GAA Club officially opened their new walkway on Sunday, September 17 in their club grounds located in Ballinla. The weather was kind and a huge crowd was in attendance to witness this event including members of Ballyskenach Athletics Club who were delighted to be able to use the track. Chairperson Barry O Grady paid special tribute to the contractors for the job Barry O Donnell Electrical & Keith Breen who provided an excellent service throughout.

He also thanked the Sports capital department for the funding to make this project possible. Barry also paid special mention to the club's caretaker & groundsman Larry Levanzin for keeping the clubhouse & pitch in immaculate condition. Lastly, he paid tribute to the hard-working committee that organised this project and thanked them for their invaluable work.  He then handed over the baton to club stalwart Ger England who had the honour of officially opening the walkway.
