1964 was an historic year for the Laois Minor Hurling team as they defeated Kilkenny in the Leinster Final in Croke Park. The team went on to contest the All-Ireland final in the same stadium but were beaten by Cork on September 6 1964 . The remaining members from that team gathered in Treacy’s Bar and Lounge The Heath on Saturday evening, September 14 to celebrate 60 years since Laois' last Minor Leinster Hurling title.
