Colt GAA club recently held a Family Fun Day to mark the club's 70th year of existence. Their new gym was also officially opened on the day. There was plenty of fun for all the family with family races, a sheaf throwing competition, a crossbar challenge, a kiddies corner, Colt Shanahoe Juvenile tournament and a game between the Colt Gaelic for Mothers and Others vs the lads. There was music on the day from Spink Comhaltas. Photographer Denis Byrne attended the event for the Leinster Express/ Laois Live.
