Ross Munnelly is working with St Brigid's Club who are Roscommon champions.
Ross Munnelly's GAA coaching credentials continue to capture attention with the latest achievement for his CV a win over Galway club Corofin in the Connacht Club Championship.
The former Laois player is now part or the Pádraig Pearses coaching team as a selector. Munnelly was on the sideline on Sunday, November 10 at the famous Tuam Stadium when the Roscommon champions saw off Galway GAA champs in the first round of the Connacht GAA Club Championship.
Pearses, which are located in south Roscommon near Ballinasloe, saw off Corofin after an impressive first half display. They eventually won on a scoreline of 2-10 to Corofin's 0-10.
Munnelly's contribution to the Frank Canning coached Pearses was mentioned in TV commentary by Séan Óg de Paor on TG4 during the live broadcast.
Pearse's next game is against Leitrim Champions Mohill.
It's been a busy year on the sidelines for Munnelly. He is Justin McNulty's right-hand man on the Laois GAA senior football coaching ticket. MORE BELOW PICTURE.
Laois contested two finals in Croke Park in 2024. They won the Division 4 League Final but lost the Tailteann Cup decider.
Munnelly retired from intercounty football in 2022. He made his Laois debut in 2003 when Mick O'Dwyer was in charge, won a Leinster GAA senior title in hid debut campaign.
