Shanahoe LGFA celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2024 with a family fun day held at Shanahoe GAA pitch. There was a great crowd in attendance with founding members Ann Kirwan and Mikey Hyland present on the day. They were joined by players from the club's first under 14 team back in 1994. Photographer Alf Harvey attended the event for the Leinster Express/ Laois Live.
