Any GAA fans from Laois that were hoping to watch the All-Ireland Club SFC Semi-Final between Dr Crokes and Errigal Ciarán wil now have to travel to Newbridge after the GAA confirmed that Laois Hire O'Moore Park in Portlaoise failed a pitch inspection on Wednesday afternoon.

The clash of the Ulster champions and the Munster champions was due to take place on Sunday, January 5, but the cold snap forced the game to be postponed and it was re-fixed for this Saturday, January 11.

However, the pitch in Portlaoise is still not in a position for a game to be played so the GAA decided to move the game to the recently revamped Cedral St Conleth's Park in Newbridge.

The other semi-final will take place in Kingspan Breffni Park between Coolera-Strandhill and Cuala.

Dr Crokes and Errigal Ciaran will have a 3pm throw-in on Saturday, January 11 in Newbridge while the Coolera-Strandhill and Cuala game will start at 5pm in Cavan.
