Jarlath Burns is set for Laois visit.
GAA President Jarlath Burns is booked for a special visit to Laois in January for a special celebration in Annanough.
To mark its 105th year anniversary in 2025 the Annanough GAA club has organised a year of celebration.
"To celebrate we are going to have a series of events during the year but we are going to kick start the celebrations in the Vicarstown Community hall on Friday, January 24th. Our special guest on the night will be An Uachtarain Jarlath Burns," said the club.
To make the event a success the GAA club has sent out an appeal to members and local people. MORE BELOW PICTURE.

"We need all members, members family and friends to fill the hall and make it a memorable night for Annanough GAA and we have a special group of people we would like to honour," said the club.
The club says there will be food, live music and bar on the night which they promise will be a fantastic opportunity for all members to reel in the years and reminisce the night away.
Doors open at 7pm and the club lis looking forward to welcoming people to what should be a big and historic occasion.
