Annanough GAA's milestone 105th-anniversary celebrations are back on track after Storm Éowyn forced the postponement of their original event in January.

GAA President Jarlath Burns has confirmed he will visit the Laois club on Friday, March 14, for the much-anticipated occasion.

The Vicarstown Community Hall will host the event, which kicks off a year of celebrations marking Annanough's long-standing history in Laois GAA. The club has called on its members and the wider community to turn out in force to give Burns a warm welcome.

“We need all members, their families, and friends to fill the hall and make it a memorable night for Annanough GAA,” the club stated. “We also have a special group of people we would like to honour on the night.”

Guests can look forward to food, live music, and a bar, with the club promising an evening filled with nostalgia and celebration. Doors will open at 7pm, and the club is encouraging everyone to spread the word and be part of what is set to be a historic night for Annanough GAA.
