Portlaoise GAA’s Town Lotto jackpot has finally been claimed, with Paula Kelly securing the €20,000 top prize after matching all four numbers in the latest draw.
Her winning ticket was purchased from Committee member Malcolm Nealon, who was in Peig’s pub in Portlaoise on the night of the draw (Thursday, March 27) to witness the moment her numbers were revealed.
The club credited dedicated ticket sellers like Malcolm for ensuring the continued success of the lotto, which has provided major jackpot prizes for lucky winners.
With the top prize now won, the jackpot resets to €16,000 for next week’s draw. Portlaoise GAA has encouraged supporters to get their tickets early and stay in the hunt for the next big prize.
The winning numbers drawn were 5, 7, 13, and 14.
