Laois GAA football team named for opening game of Leinster Minor Championship

Laois Minor Football manager John Larkin has revealed his starting 15 and substitutes for Saturday afternoon's opening game in the Leinster Championship against Louth. He has also named who'll captain the side and his vice-captains.

Laois will face Louth in the opening round of this year's championship, with Dublin and Offaly joining them in Group 3. 

Mark O'Connor from Portlaoise has been chosen as the team's captain, he was part of the Portlaoise side which ended a 12-year wait for a Minor title in 2024. O'Dempsey's Ultan Dunne and Crettyard's Fionnan Brennan are the vice-captains.

Laois and Louth will take to the field in Laois Hire O'Moore Park on Saturday afternoon, March 29 from 2pm. The Leinster Express/ Laois Live will be providing a live blog from the game while tickets for the game can be purchased here.
