Former Laois manager and GAA legend Mick 'Micko' O'Dwyer has passed away at the age of 88.
O'Dwyer will go down as the most decorated icons in the GAA's history, winning four All-Ireland's with Kerry as a player and guiding them to a further eight. Following a successful stint as Kerry manager following his playing days, the Waterville native went on to manage Kildare, Laois, Wicklow and Clare.

He won two Leinster championships with the Lilywhites and took them to the 1998 All-Ireland final of 1998. During his time in Laois, he added the county's first Leinster title in 57 years, and then went on to win the Tommy Murphy Cup with Wicklow.
O'Dwyer continued his management career well into his seventies, before finally hanging up his managerial boots in 2014 as Clare manager.
