The Laois U-16 Camogie team stand just one win away from national glory as they prepare to take on Kildare in the EIR U16 B All-Ireland Championship Final.

Having built serious momentum throughout the campaign, Laois will enter the decider with a perfect record of five wins from five, including an emphatic 4-13 to 0-11 victory over Kildare earlier in the group stages.

That group-stage form saw Laois see off Carlow (0-11 to 0-5), Kerry (2-10 to 1-8), Down (2-16 to 0-4), and Kildare before repeating the trick against Kerry in the semi-final. A strong final quarter performance helped them push past the Kingdom once more, running out 2-13 to 2-8 winners on Easter Monday.

Kildare, meanwhile, showed their own improvement with a dominant 5-12 to 0-6 semi-final victory over Carlow to secure their place in the final. Having already beaten the Lilywhites once, Laois will be favourites going into Saturday's final, but with silverware on the line, they’ll be taking nothing for granted.

Throw-in is at 3pm in Coralstown-Kinnegad GAA on Saturday, May 3.
