Laois' final group game in this year's Tailteann Cup against Offaly has now been confirmed, with the game set to take place at a neutral venue in Cedral St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge.
Laois will enter the game following a win over Waterford, but were dealt a setback last weekend when they lost by five points to Wicklow in Aughrim. After two contrasting results, Laois will be eager to put in a strong performance to keep their hopes alive in the competition.
Recent visits to Cedral St Conleth’s Park haven’t gone smoothly for Laois, with defeats to Kildare and Louth earlier this year. The team will be looking to improve on that record as they prepare to face a confident Offaly side.
Offaly, unbeaten so far in the group, have secured wins over both Wicklow and Waterford and will be aiming to finish top of the table with a victory in this encounter.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, with a 6pm throw-in.
