Laois LGFA are inviting fans of the county's Ladies Gaelic football team in a show of support for the players who'll be flying the blue and white in Croke Park in this year's All-Ireland Intermediate All-Ireland final.

The Laois LGFA have organised a meet the players evening on Tuesday, July 22 from 8.15pm in the Laois GAA LOETB Centre of Excellence beside Laois Hire O'Moore Park Portlaoise.

"All are invited to come along and meet the players as they prepare for their All-Ireland final," says the public invite.

Goal-hungry Laois surged into the final versus Tyrone after seeing off Monaghan in the semi-final.

Four goals in the first half and a fifth late on were enough to earn a return to Croke Park for a second All-Ireland final in four years for Laois.

Stephen Duff's side beat Roscommon and Fermanagh to top Group 1 before getting the better of Wexford in the quarter-finals after extra-time. Laois put a sensational attacking performance in the first half and weathered the Monaghan storm after the break to get over the line with the victory. MORE BELOW PHOTO.
