Aimee Collier accepts her Player of the Match Award following the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie win over Wicklow in Cavan.
Laois is lucky to have Aimee Collier and her languid camogie style that betrays one of the game's most complete forwards.
Her free-taking prowess combined once again with a sharp eye for goal and points as well as unselfish ability to create scores and space for others won her the Player of the Match Award in the All-Ireland semi-final win over Wicklow.
While there was a big gap between Laois and Wicklow on the scoreboard, the full forward complimented the Garden County women on their physicality and commitment.
"We knew it wasn't going to be easy. They are a seriously physical team and they never died until the end. Whatever the scoreboard showed, it's not what we played on the field," she said.
She is looking forward to getting back to GAA HQ on August 10 for the Junior All-Ireland Final.
"It is great to get back to Croke Park - that was our aim at the start of the year," she said after accepting her trophy.
She agreed that the year's final one-point loss to Tipperary has to be addressed.
"100%. When we came back this year, we said we have to undo that one-score game. I just hope to God we can do that this year," she said. More below picture.

She is looking forward to the preparations for the final.
"Training has been going very well, and everyone is pushing. You don't have your jersey, so you have to go as hard as you can and that is what is making us do what we do on the field," she said.

She hoped Laois fans would travel to Dublin to shout for their team.
"You have to have a crowd when you go to Croke Park. That is what is is all about. That feeling when you run out onto the field is absolutely amazing to hear the roar for you and your county so I just hope the Laois fans come out an support us once again.
