The Rock GAA Club hosted a fantastic Family Fun Day this autumn on Sunday, September 7. Families enjoyed an afternoon packed with entertainment, games, and community spirit before the much-anticipated Duck Race got underway. There was huge excitement as the ducks made their way down the Triogue River and the winners were revealed. Garry Cullen took first prize, winning two nights bed and breakfast plus an evening meal for two in any Só Hotel. Annie Murphy claimed second prize, a brand new 43-inch TV, while Maya McRedmond scooped third place with a six-month membership in Zest Leisure Club, Killeshin. Fourth place went to Donal Mooney, who picked up a smart watch, while Will McRedmond enjoyed fifth place with a three-course dinner for four in Newbridge Greyhound Stadium. Rounding off the winners, Niamh Larkin took home the sixth prize of wireless AirPods. Denis Byrne attended the event for the Leinster Express/ Laois Live.
