There were joyous scenes in Laois Hire O'Moore Park last Friday, September 26, as Park-Ratheniska defeated Arles-Kilcruise in this year's Laois Shopping Centre Intermediate Football final. They won 3-10 to 0-10 and can now look forward to a Leinster Intermediate Club Championship where they'll play the winners of either the Louth or Wicklow IFC on the weekend of November 15/16. Louth are down to the semi-final stage of their championship, while the Wicklow final takes place this weekend, with Baltinglass taking Éire Óg Greystones at 1pm on Saturday, October 4.
