Leinster GAA has confirmed the fixtures for the 2026 O’Byrne and Walsh Cups, along with the draws for the Shield competitions.
The Laois footballers will face Dublin in Round 1 of the O’Byrne Cup on Saturday, January 3, at a Laois venue. This will be the first game in charge for Dublin’s new manager, Ger Brennan. The winners will advance to the O’Byrne Cup semi-finals, while the defeated side will compete in the O’Byrne Shield semi-finals.
Tommy Fitzgerald’s Laois senior hurlers will welcome Wexford to O’Moore Park in the Walsh Cup. The winners of that game will face the winners of Carlow vs Dublin, while the losers will play in the Walsh Shield semi-finals against the losing side from that fixture.
