Dublin are set to make the trip down the M7 on Saturday afternoon to take on Justin McNulty’s Laois in the opening round of the 2026 O’Byrne Cup.
Ger Brennan, who was announced as the new Dublin manager last August, has named his 26-man panel for the game.
Niall O’Callaghan is named to start at full-forward, with he and his brothers Con and Eoghan having been part of the Cuala side crowned All-Ireland Club champions for 2024. Eoghan is also listed to start at full-back on Saturday. Fellow Cuala players Eoin Kennedy and Cillian Dunne, who were also part of that All-Ireland-winning team, have been named among the substitutes.
Aside from the Cuala contingent, the Dublin panel has a distinctly experimental look with none of the stars like Ciarán Kilkenny featuring.
