Laois Ladies manager Stephen Duff has named the team that will take on Fermanagh in the first game of this year's Lidl National League Division 3.
The team that's set to start against Fermanagh in Emo GAA on Sunday shows five changes from Laois' All-Ireland Intermediate final defeat to Tyrone. Three of those changes are forced as Mo Nerney, Jane Moore, and Anna Moore aren't currently with the panel.
St Joseph's Ava Shanahan starts in goal in place of Shanahoe's Eimear Barry, who's named on the bench. Portlaoise's Aishling Saunders comes back into the panel after a few years away and starts at full-back. Mary Cotter comes into the team at centre-back in place of Anna Moore. Sarsfields Lauren Kearney and Timahoe's Katie Donoghue are the other two changes. They replace Jane Moore and Mo Nerney in the starting 15.
The bench is quite a youthful one with the likes of Kathlyn Timmons, Mia Branagan and Lara Culleton in line to make their Laois debuts should they be brought on.
