The annual Ballyfin GAA Club 6k Run/Walk took place through the grounds of the five-star Ballyfin Demense on Sunday, January 25. Jack Martin from Templemore was the first male to finish, Sarah Flanagan from Tullamore Harriers was the first female, local runner Senan Conlin was the 1st boy (u16), and Hayley Dooley from Castletown was the 1st girl (u16). Ann Hillary was the winner of the raffle for dinner in Ballyfin House. Photographer Denis Byrne attended the event for the Leinster Express/Laois Live.
