The Laois senior football team for Saturday evening's Division 3 contest against Wexford has been named by manager Justin McNulty.

From the 15 that started in last Saturday's draw against Limerick, there is one change with Park-Ratheniska's Cian Nolan dropping out of the 26 through injury. Clonaslee St Manman's Niall Corbet comes into the team. It was Corbet's point late on against Limerick that saw them end all square and saw Laois pick up their first points of this year's campaign.

On the subs bench, there are three changes from the Limerick game. The Rock's Sean O'Neill and the Courtwood pair of Eoghan Slattery and Alan Kinsella come into Laois' 26-man panel for the Wexford game.

There are also a few positional changes made by McNulty. Ronan Coffey and Evan O'Carroll have swapped positions with Coffey at corner-forward and O'Carroll at centre-forward. Rioghan Murphy is at half-forward and Corbet is at 13 in place of the aforementioned Nolan. Portlaoise's Kevin Swayne and St Joseph's Jack Lacey have also swapped with Swayne down to the wear the number 4 jersey, while Lacey will have 7 on his back.

LAOIS: Killian Roche (Killeshin); Ben Dempsey (Portlaoise), Trevor Collins (Graiguecullen), Kevin Swayne (Portlaoise); Paddy O’Sullivan (Portarlington), Brian Byrne (Captain, Graiguecullen), Jack Lacey (St Joseph's); Rob Tyrrell (Courtwood), Ciaran Burke (Crettyard); Rioghan Murphy (Portarlington), Evan O’Carroll (Crettyard), Conor Heffernan (Killeshin); Niall Corbet (Clonaslee St Manman's), Daragh Galvin (Portarlington), Ronan Coffey (Portarlington).

SUBS: Matthew Byron (Courtwood), Darren Brennan (Portlaoise), Mikie Dempsey (St Joseph's), Colin Dunne (Arles-Killeen), Paul Kingston (Arles-Killeen), Alan Kinsella (Courtwood), Cathal Lee (Clonaslee St Manman's), Alex Mohan (Portarlington), Sean O’Neill (The Rock), Eoghan Slattery (Courtwood), Cian Ryle (Kilcavan).

Wexford come into Saturday evening's game with two points to their name after they went to Enniskillen last Sunday and got the better of Fermanagh. Laois v Wexford throws-in at 6pm on Saturday, January 31. You can follow the action on the Leinster Express/ Laois Live's free live blog on Saturday evening.
