Trio of changes as Tommy Fitzgerald names Laois hurling team to face Derry in Portlaoise

Following their hammering of Mayo in Toreen last Sunday, the Laois senior hurlers welcome Derry to Portlaoise for their first home game of this year's Allianz Hurling League Division 2.

Manager Tommy Fitzgerald has made three changes to the team that started against Mayo.

Borris-Kilcotton's Eoin Fleming comes into the team between the sticks in place of Clough-Ballacolla's Cathal Dunne. Rosenallis' Fiachra C Fennell is down to start at half-back and will replace The Harps' Podge Delaney, who drops to the bench. The final change sees Castletown's Martin Phelan come into the team at half-forward. He replaces midfielder Aidan Corby, with Laois captain David Dooley moving to midfield to partner Camross' Eoin Gaughan.

Laois v Derry throws-in at 1pm in Laois Hire O'Moore Park, Portlaoise, on Sunday, February 1.
