The 2026 Laois Camogie intermediate panel has been named by All-Ireland-winning managers Pat Collier and Rob Jones ahead of Laois’ tricky away trip to Killarney to face Kerry in the opening game of this year’s Centra Division 2A Camogie League. There are 32 players on the panel this year, up five from the 27-player panel in 2025.
Camross' Aimee Collier has been named as the captain, having been the vice-captain in 2025 and takes over from Clodagh Tynan. Collier had a superb year in 2025 as she was named PwC GPA Camogie Premier Junior Player of the Year and was the championship's top scorer with an astonishing tally of 8-34. She and her club Camross then went on to be crowned Laois, Leinster and All-Ireland Intermediate champions to cap off a brilliant year for Laois Camogie.
From the team that started against Armagh in last August’s All-Ireland final, two players have not been named on the Laois panel: midfielders Alanna Tynan (St Brigid’s) and Liadan C. Fennell (O’Moore’s). There are also several players from the bench who will not be involved this year: Lynda Keyes (Camross), Aoife Delaney (Clonad Raheen Gaels), Meadhbh Bolger (The Harps) and Kayla Dwyer (The Harps).
There are 11 new players on the panel this year who were not involved in last year’s squad: Aisling O’Dea, Aoife Carroll, Tegan Reilly Bowe, Aoife Finlay, Rachel Deegan, Jade Bergin, Catherine Kirby, Amy Lacey, Rachel Bergin, Sarah Fleming and Karla Whelan. SEE THE FULL PANEL BELOW.
