SHC county champions Clough/Ballacolla have been drawn into Group B
This year’s Laois Shopping Centre Hurling Championship draws were made at the Laois GAA Centre of Excellence on Thursday evening.
Similar to the football draws, Laois GAA Chairperson PJ Kelly conducted proceedings alongside Hurling Chairman PJ Rafter and Kevin Doyle of Laois Shopping Centre.
The Laois Senior Hurling Championship features 10 teams split into two groups of five. However, teams in Group A will play teams in Group B and vice versa.
2025 county champions Clough/Ballacolla were drawn in Group B alongside Rathdowney-Errill, Borris-Kilcotton, The Harps and Premier Intermediate champions Ballyfin. Group A sees county finalists Camross joined by Ballinakill, Rosenallis, Abbeyleix and Portlaoise.
There will be no Senior ‘B’ competition in 2026, unlike in 2025 when The Harps defeated Abbeyleix in the final in Colt.
