Emo NS turned in a dominant display to claim the boys Division 2 title in O'Moore Park last Tuesday morning.
In the first final played over the two days, Emo showed they will be right at home in Division 1 next year as they had the win here wrapped up by half time.
Ballyroan battled manfully throughout, and clearly had plenty of talent in the side, but Emo were just too strong across the field.
Brochan O'Reilly's goal in the ninth minute set them on their way after a closely fought opening period, and they hit three more points without reply before O'Reilly got his second.
Sean Downey added a point for Emo before Roy Lawlor got in on the act with an excellent goal, 3-5 to no score the way things stood at half time.
Ballyroan got the opening score of the second half thanks to a point from Darren Mulhall, but Emo were not to be denied. Padraig Langford added another two goals for them, Brochan O'Reilly brought up his hat-trick while sub Darragh Keegan made it seven, as they proved too strong on the day and eventually ran out convincing winners.
