Laois GAA club lines up 'legend' for dinner dance
The Laois GAA 2017 Minor Football champs.
Portarlington GAA club says it has lined up a legend of Gaelic Games for its upcoming dinner dance.
The Laois Offaly border town club is looking forward to welcoming Kerry native and former RTÉ commentator Micheál O Muircheataigh to the the big event this Friday, January 26.
Dinner dance tickets are on sale from 6.30-9.30pm up in the GAA Centre on Tuesday, January 23.
"Don't miss out on the biggest social night of the year and with legendary Micheal O Muircheataigh in attendance, this is shaping up to be a truly memorable night," say the organisers.
Portarlington GAA members will celebrate two big Laois Gaelic Football wins when they gather for the annual dinner dance.
The winning members of the 2017 Minor & U-21 teams will be presented their Laois County Championship medals.
Music on the night and it promises to be a great night. Tickets are €40 are also sale from Darren Bracken, Niall Slevin and Adrianne McCarthy.
What is sure to be a great night takes place in The Heritage Hotel Killenard.
