If you're feeling Footloose and fancy free this weekend, then The Heath Ladies Football club have the event for you with their 80s Disco Night in Grellan Delaney's.

There won't be any Dirty Dancing on the night, but be sure your there or it'll be over in a Flash(dance).

Popular DJ Cecil Carter will be blasting out the best hits of the decade, and leg warmers, shoulder pads and shell suits are back in vogue. Whoever shows the greatest commitment to the decade that fashion forgot will win a prize for Best Dressed (should that be Worst Dressed?), which is a weekend away.

Tickets are already on sale for the event, costing just €10, and are on sale from the Funky Munky bar on Main St in Portlaoise, or from any committee member in The The Heath LGFA. You can check out 'The Heath Ladies GAA' on Facebook for more.

The party starts at 9.30pm, and early purchase of tickets is advised to avoid disappointment. So, fuel up your Delorean, backcomb the bejesus out of your hair, and moonwalk your way into Grellan Delaney's this Saturday, June 2.
