Laois boss John Sugrue names first team of new season ahead of clash with Meath

Adam Campion will make his debut for the seniors.

The first Laois senior football team of the new season has been named ahead of their O'Byrne Cup clash with Meath on Saturday evening in O'Moore Park.

Portarlington duo Scott Osborne and Sean Byrne will be making their senior debuts, while Adam Campion, Brian Daly and Marty Scully will also be given the chance to stake their claim for a place on the panel in the new year.

Campion is named at corner-back, with Daly partnering John O'Loughlin in midfield and Marty Scully lining at out wing-forward. The Laois team in full is as follows;
