The third count has taken place in the Laois General Election without any candidate being elected.
Returning Officer Rory Hanniffy read the results of the third count at 7.35pm. The count saw the distribution of Austin Stack’s 502 votes.
The results of the third count are as follows:

Pauline Flanagan(Ind) (+6) 610
Sean Fleming(FF) (+273) 8,405
Mary Hande(Aontú) (+9)1,051
Jason Lynch(Ind) Eliminated

Ken Mooney(PBP) (+10) 767
Aisling Moran(Ind) (+17) 3,013
Elaine Mullally(Ind) (+21) 2,484
Rosie Palmer(Grn) (+8) 760
Austin Stack(FF) Eliminated
Brian Stanley(Ind) (+54) 6,858
There were eight non-transferable votes. Pauline Flanagan was eliminated and her 610 votes will now be transferred.
