There has been great support for the Charity Golf Classic for Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service and the Cara Curley Fund.
The main sponsor, Lumcloon Energy, presented a cheque to committee members recently.
The Golf Classic will take place on May 4 and 5 in Portarlington Golf Club. It will be a Four Ball Scramble, Entry €200 for a team of four or sponsor a tee box for €50.
There are many great prizes on offer for winning teams including tickets for Electric Picnic, lunch in Chapter One Restaurant in Dublin and dinner in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore.
Other prizes include green fees for some great courses including PGA National Slieve Russell, Tullamore Golf Club and Esker Hills Golf Club. Many other prizes on the day.
