Showing a natural talent for the game, Zane Keenan, claimed top spot at the Laois Hurlers Golfing Society Outing which took place on Saturday last. This was the Society’s first visit to Portlaoise G.C. Paul Delaney filled the runners up spot, closely followed home by Society Captain, Liam Corby. Brochan O’Reilly took fourth place. Larry Phelan with a tremendous drive down the 11th took home the Longest Drive prize, while Joe Keenan beat all comers to clinch the nearest the pin title.
Society Captain, Liam Corby, will host the next uuting which is scheduled for Abbeyleix G.C.
