The team comprised of Daragh Lalor, Killian Christie, Ross Ring, Cormac Keegan, and Jack Phelan
There were celebrations at The Heath Golf Club this week as their Boys Interclub team secured a coveted spot in the All-Ireland Final, thanks to a superb display at the Leinster Central Area Qualifier in Edenderry.
The team of Daragh Lalor, Killian Christie, Ross Ring, Cormac Keegan and Jack Phelan combined for a brilliant total of 112 stableford points, enough to top the leaderboard in a competitive field. With only the best three scores from five counting toward the final tally, consistency and nerve under pressure proved key. The Heath edged out local rivals Portarlington Golf Club, who finished just behind in second place, to claim qualification for the national decider.
The All-Ireland Final will take place in Donabate Golf Club in mid-August, where The Heath will represent their region against the top junior teams from around the country.
