Laois Gardai say a driver stopped for speeding in Laois tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
The driver was stopped by Laois Roads Policing Unit on the motorway in Laois.
The learner driver was unaccompanied, according to Gardai.
“Driver was travelling at 155 kmph in a 120 kmph zone. The driver was arrested after they failed the roadside drug test for cocaine and cannabis,” Gardai stated.
They seized the car and said court proceedings will follow.
