A BMW driver failed a roadside drug test after being stopped for driving at 168kph near Portlaoise.
“Laois Roads Policing conducting a speed check on the M7 near Portlaoise yesterday detected this vehicle travelling at 168kph,” Gardai said.
“The vehicle was stopped and the driver failed a roadside drug test for cocaine. The driver was arrested and court proceedings have commenced,” they added.
