High winds from Storm Kathleen are impacting rail services in Laois.
Irish Rail has suspended services through Monasterevin after a tree fell on the rail line.
“Crew working to clear tree from line near Monasterevin, currently affecting services to/from Heuston,” Irish Rail stated on social media.
“Heuston commuter services will operate to/from Kildare and all other services remain suspended through Monasterevin until further notice. Update to follow," Irish Rail stated.

They stated that the services are unlikely to resume until after 10.30am at the earliest.
