Power cuts have left more than 2,000 customers without electricity in Laois.
ESB Networks is reporting two faults in Portlarlington where 1,831 users who lost power are expected to have power restored by 2.15pm. A second fault impacting 36 customers in Portarlington is expected to be repaired by 3pm.
Meanwhile, 115 ESB customers are without power in Rathdowney. The estimated time for the restoration of power is 3pm.
An earlier fault in Mountmellick impacting 38 properties was restored at 12 noon today. Details of the power outages and restoration times can be found here https://powercheck.esbnetworks.ie/
