The hair donated to The Rapunzel Foundation will be made into wigs for children with alopecia, and those who have lost their hair from treatments such as chemotherapy. To make wigs for the affected children, 14 inches of hair is the minimum.
Speaking to Leinster Express/Laois Live after the big cut Victoria said she felt good after donating her hair for an amazing cause and said she was congratulated by her school friends.
Mum Katarzyna said Victoria decided to cut her hair after she explained the great work LauraLynn carry out.
"Victoria had very long hair and for a while she didn't want to cut it. After months and months of thinking about it, I explained to her what the Laura Lynn Foundation is doing and where the hair will go and she signed up," she said.
