'Is This Your Dog?': Appeal issued for owners of dog who travelled from Portlaoise to Dublin

Irish Rail has issued an appeal online for the owners of a dog who stowed away on a train from Laois to the Big Smoke.

The tiny black and brown pup hopped on a evening train at Portlaoise Station, bound for Dublin, on Friday evening, April 12.

"Last night, this sweet dog embarked on the 19:25 Portlaoise to Heuston service," the national rail provider posted on their official social media channels.

The pocket-sized passenger was found and is "being cared for by our staff from Heuston Station until we find its owner," according to Irish Rail.
