A probationer Garda attached to the Laois Offaly Garda Division has been praised for coming to the rescue for a member of the public who got into bother while changing a tyre.
Garda Darren Garvey was quick to lend a hand to change the tyre on Tuesday morning. The young man was praised on social media for his efforts.
