Members of the Class of 1990 Restoration Project hosted a spectacular Brigid in Bloom concert in Mountrath for Heritage Week with star Trudi Lalor, Camross native Shawn Cuddy and Glór Tíre singer Effie Neill bringing the house down.
The candlelight concert held in Bloom HQ brought a full day of events to a close.
It started off with an arts and crafts workshop with primary school teacher Marian Naughton in St Philomena's Hall followed by a gardening clinic with Noranne Scott of Scott Landscape Design in Bloom Gardens.
In the afternoon novelist Helen Moorhouse hosted a workshop exploring the basics of starting your own novel.
The Class of 1990 project was set up in January 2023 after past pupils held their first school reunion in 32 years. They decided to come together to help restore and renovate the buildings for community use.
